The massive erosion of Kingscliff Beach continues. No-one seems to know the cause. It has been ongoing since May 2009 with the majority of events related to tidal surge rather than any big sea events.

Kingscliff Artist Michael Bryant has been documenting the foreshore erosion since 2009. The syndicated Fairfax Media online papers have picked up the story and published several of his photographs of  “The Hungry Ocean”

The artist is planning an exhibition in 2012 at Curious Art Gallery located near Kingscliff.
He will feature photography and words artistically documentating the Kingscliff Erosion events from 2009 to 2011
